A City College student named Cody West was reported as a missing person at risk. He was last seen leaving a party located in the 6200 block of Avenida Gorrion in Goleta. West left the party intoxicated and leaving his friends to assume he had been picked up. He had allegedly made some suicidal comments to family members after a recent arrest.

Cody West was found deceased under his car, near his sister’s house in Goleta, on Friday, May 1. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has not released a cause of death, and the accident is still under investigation.
April 29 – 7 p.m.
Security received a report of a possible hit and run of a parked vehicle in Lot 1B. The female victim was not present at the time, although a witness saw the crash and later reported it to security. The Santa Barbara Police Department was contacted and a report has been made.
