Although years have gone by since the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the community’s losses are honored to this day. On Monday Feb 3., a flag lowering ceremony took place on the Luria Library patio. Faculty, students, and family gathered to remember the students that tragically passed away during the pandemic. By the end of the ceremony, the Santa Barbara City College flag was lowered to half-staff swaying under the overcast sky.
