The Santa Barbara Zoo hosts a celebration for Earth day with educational opportunities

Following an arboraceous pathway surrounded with monkeys, tigers, and birds, The Santa Barbara Zoo holds an annual event hosted by the Community Environmental Council, highlighting Santa Barbara’s valued holiday, Earth Day. Volunteers and Zoo keepers walk children and visitors through the steps in which they could take to make the world a cleaner place, specifically in hopes of creating safer animal habitats.
