A City College staff member reported male students who approached and harassed female students on West Campus. The three males’ odd behavior included pranks and silly questions intended to be broadcast over the Internet. Offensive remarks to the females were also reported. The perpetrators have created YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and a website to post their prank videos from locations throughout Santa Barbara. When campus security officers confronted the men, two cooperated by showing identification and one refused. All three were sent to the Dean for referral. During the Fall 2012 semester two complaints from female students had been reported about the same activities.
