Jessica Domenichelli has flourished this season, becoming a top striker as she recorded her third hat trick of the season against Oxnard on Friday.
The freshman from El Dorado Hills, Domenichelli, has tallied 21 goals this season.
In the game against Oxnard, the Vaqueros took command early as Domenichelli scored her first two goals within five minutes, giving City College a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.
The second half also started with an explosion, when Katherine Earle scored just a minute in and ten minutes later she added her second of the night.
Sara Thomas was taken down in the box in the 75th minute and converted the penalty kick with ease.
At the end of the game Domenichelli finalized her hat trick after a great through ball from Jenna Rubin to make it 6-0.
The Vaqueros are 4-0-1 in their last five games, outscoring their opponents 33-1.
The second-place Vaqs will host Ventura in a first-place showdown in their season finale on Nov. 12.
