A week of trouble by male students on campus

Oct. 3 ­– 8:35 a.m.

Campus security received a report of a male student harassing other students in class. The student was referred to student discipline and the dean is still investigating the incident.

 

Oct. 3 ­– 12:22 p.m.

A male student was suspended from City College after making contact with an instructor. Because of previous incidents, the student had been directed not to make contact with this specific instructor. Security called the Santa Barbara Police Department to report the incident.

 

Oct. 6 –1:30 p.m.

A male student reported to Campus Security that a student worker was harassing him. The student stated that he felt the worker was directly targeting him regarding the security of his bike. The student worker stated that the student had locked his bike to unauthorized sites and he was merely informing the student of the campus rules.

 

Oct. 8 –1:06 p.m.

A male student was using foul language and tried to intimidate his tutor using his size. The student was threatening toward his tutor and angry for not being helped the way he wanted. The incident is under investigation and Campus Security has identified the suspect but has yet to make contact with him.
