Erik Frike, head of campus security, said he received a call that a man had exposed himself to a female student while they were sitting at computers inside of the library.

According to the police report, security officers arrived and spoke with the female who pointed to Williams. Security then approached the man and asked him to wait until the police arrived, but he refused to cooperate.

Campus Security followed Williams out of the library, across the bridge and to the other side of East Campus.

Paul McCaffrey, the public information officer for SBPD, said the police arrived as Williams attempted to leave Campus and arrested him beneath the Humanities Building on the emergency fire lane that exits to Pershing Park.

The police searched Williams and found a prescription drug with no label, he said.

Williams remains in custody at the county jail and his bail is set at $2,500.
