From Solvang, California, Theater Arts student Charlotte Hecker came to City College seeking a small, one-on-one theater education to gain experience and build her portfolio. However, she found more than that.

Hecker expressed that she has learned not only technical acting skills, but also the importance of being a part of a working, hands-on theater company. She said attending City College has broadened her theater perspective as well as allowed her to explore her many strengths and curiosities
