The Vaqueros showed they had something to prove as they improved their record to 2-1 coming off a disappointing loss to Orange Coast earlier in the week.

City College will play another doubleheader against Palomar and San Diego City at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday in Palomar.
