Vaqueros Amy Sagraves and Meghan Schaefer lost their doubles match in the round of 16 Friday at the Southern Cal Regional in Long Beach against fifth seeded Tina Vuong-Natalie Loria of Irvine Valley.
The Vaquero tandem of Anna Slyutova-Terea Tapu fell to Erika Kagawa-Clara Kearney of Saddleback 6-2, 6-2 in the Round of 32., leaving Sagraves and Schaefer the only Vaqueros left in the tournament.
The dynamic pair cruised into the final 16 after beating Nicole Delgado-Cyd Dionson of Cerritos, 6-2, 6-0.
However, the pair fell to Vuong-Loria 6-3, 6-1, which ended the Vaqueros season.

The Vaqueros ended the year with seven more victories as a team and and 2nd place finish in the conference.
