Desmond O’Neil will not be returning as a Trustee, according to the most recent and final election results posted online by the Santa Barbara county elections office.
The final tally has Marsha Croninger at 21,484 votes, or 22.01 percent.
The final count for O’Neill was 21,361, or 21.88 percent.
Croninger will join fellow winners Marty Blum, Dr. Peter Haslund, and Lisa Macker as the college’s newest trustees.

All four ran as challengers against incumbents Dr. Kathryn Alexander, Dr. Joe Dobbs, Sally Green and O’Neill, who together carried over 100 years of service to the board.
