Campus Security smashes marijuana pipe; masturbation at Pershing Park; flasher exposes himself

Nov. 6

At 8:15 p.m., security responded to a drunk male on campus.

The man had been drinking beer in the horticulture garden and security removed him from campus. He showed up at the lower entrance to La Playa Stadium and security removed him again.

Nov. 8

Security confiscated an illegally used handicap placard from a student. The placard had belonged to the student’s dead step-grandfather. The Security Office turned over the placard to the DMV and the student faces a maximum fine of $3,500. This was the 10th placard confiscated this semester.

Nov. 10

At 9:45 a.m., security responded to a pair of students smoking marijuana on the West Campus bluff.

The two 15-year-old dual-enrollment students had their pipe confiscated and smashed.

Nov. 10

At 1:10 p.m., security responded to a call of lewd conduct.

A female student reported a light skin male masturbating in his car parked at Pershing Park. Security made a report and contacted the Santa Barbara Police Department.

Nov. 10

At 2:45 p.m., security responded to a call of stalking.

A female student reported that a black male she did not know approached her car, opened the door and asked her to step out. She closed the door and drove off.

Nov. 11

At 5:00 p.m., security responded to another call of lewd conduct.

Security received a call from the Santa Barbara Police Department’s dispatch, after a female had contacted them. She said a black male exposed himself to her in Lot 5-3 of the parking structure on West Campus.
