Women’s volleyball extends school record win streak

The Vaqs extended their winning streak to 12 games on Friday night, sweeping Oxnard 25-18, 25-20, and 25-16 at the Sports Pavillion.

After two weeks off, the Vaqs faced an early 8-3 defecit, but went on 11-1 run to build momentum in the first set.

Jennifer Waddill led the way with 11 kills, and freshmen Nicole Bergmann wasn’t far behind with 7.

The Vaqs lead the WSC, and are ranked 7th in the state. They look to keep the winning streak alive when they head to Moorpark on Tuesday.
