Nielson elected Area 4 rep on Board of Trustees

November 7, 2012

Craig Nielson was elected as the Area 4 representative on the Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees. The area, deemed “Noleta” is situated between Santa Barbara and Goleta.

Nielson, 64-year-old City College alumni, hopes to reinstate City College’s mission statement, as well as focus on core-credit classes.

Nielson took an early, but close lead in the mail-in ballot.
