Review of Lady Gaga’s Grammy nominated album

The unique singer Lady Gaga has recently received six Grammy Award nominations for her album “The Fame Monster” released Nov. 18, 2009.

“The Fame Monster” contains eight new songs, although Lady Gaga’s previous album “The Fame” is included on a second disc as well. Just like the album “The Fame,” “The Fame Monster” went to the top of the charts in several countries almost immediately after its release.

The album starts off with the addictive song “Bad Romance” but unfortunately this song is overplayed. One song that caught my attention instantly though was “Speechless,” which ignited something within me.

Lady Gaga definitely has her own style, which I like, but I believe some songs are too computerized. The only song that didn’t keep up with the rest was “Teeth”, which was weak with uninteresting lyrics.

However, I can’t deny that her music is perfect for a party. If you appreciate Lady Gaga’s previous music like “Paparazzi” or “Poker Face” you’ll find this album exhilarating too.

I absolutely believe “The Fame Monster” deserves a Grammy.

The album is varied and makes your want to move to the music. Some songs have that little extra something that takes the listener into a different universe, the universe of Lady Gaga.

This is where the lyrics and the rhythm seem to be all that exists. Enjoy another album of craziness and delight.
