The Atkinson Gallery partnered up with the School of Culinary Arts on Feb. 20, by displaying unique art pieces created by their students in the John Dunn gourmet dining room.
“Radiance” is the theme for this particular art display and in observing the gallery, “radiant” was the first word that popped into mind.
With vibrant colors and wild shapes that twist vividly over canvas, wood, paper and through sculptures, it wasn’t hard to notice the remarkable talents these students carry while maintaining attention to detail to its radiance.
“It makes for a nice environment while dining,” said Elizabeth Smith, lab teaching assistant for the school of culinary arts. “Hopefully this will be a continuous partnership that we have with the Atkinson Art Gallery.”
“Radiance” is set to end on April 5, however Smith said another art display will begin on April 10, viewable through May 17 in the dining room.
