“Free” dropped March 31, 2009 under J-Records. The album consists of light, heart-felt songs with a blues influence. Degraw shows off his versatility as a singer, fluctuating between a high and low vocal-range.
“Free” is made up of an eclectic mix of love songs and light-hearted poetic lyrics. Songs like “Indian Summer” exude a mix of light rock and soulful blues.
