City College (23-14, 9-7) beat Hancock College in Santa Maria on Thursday behind the solid pitching of Kailey Snyder.
Snyder, who threw a no-hitter in her last outing, allowed just one hit and struck out 13 batters in five innings of relief.
The freshman entered in the third inning with her team in the lead 3-2. She struck out 13 of the next 17 batters without any walks.
The right-hander has allowed one hit and struck out 20 in her last 10 innings pitched.

Joan Cannon also contributed to the victory. The leadoff hitter went 4-for-4 with a walk, scored two runs, drove in an RBI and stole three bases.
