The Vaquero Softball team defeated College of the Canyons 6-4 and remained perfect at home on Thursday.
With this win, City College improves its record to 5-1.
Janelle Wong went 3-4 with an RBI and scored two runs. Lisa Zeitlin and Kelly Venturi also had two hits each.
“This team doesn’t know how to lose,” coach Paula Congleton said after the victory. “They just keep fighting back.”

Liliana Caughman pitched four innings and allowed two runs on three hits, while Kailey Snyder pitched the final frame to secure the victory.
City College looks to stay perfect at home at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday when it faces Glendale College.
