Women’s Golf reign as state champions

City College Women's Golf team capped a 44-1 season with a State Championship, their second since 2006. The Vaqueros needed a combined 637 strokes in the two-day season finale played at Olivas Links in Ventura to capture the victory. That mark was good enough to beat runner up Sacramento City College, as their group shot a 652, followed by day one leader Palomar (663), and Sierra College (664).
