The City College women’s golf team finished third in a five team field at the Western State Conference match at Santa Barbara Golf Club on Sept. 13.
Freshman Nicole Bullemer earned her second medalist honor in as many league matches by firing a three-over par 75.
“Bullemer is really leading the way,” said Coach Chuck Melendez. “I was happy about how we went about our business, just a little disappointed that we couldn’t get it done.”

College of the Canyons won the match with a score of 315 to maintain first place in the conference. Runner-up was Bakersfield at 326, beating the Vaqs by 10 strokes.
The Vaq’s next match will be held Monday Sept. 27 at the the Alisal Guest Ranch in Solvang.
