Palestine protests begin at City College, community and students use their voice

Protestors filled City College hoping to get their voices heard concerning Palestine, with an end goal to receive recognition from the Board of Trustees. Protestors were set to meet on May 7 at the West Campus fountain and make their way towards the East Campus cafeteria.

The protest included the unveiling of a script attached to the second story of the Physical Science Building, filled with names of Palestinian’s who have died since Oct. 7, 2023.

Speaker at the protest Sabrina Elmoussaid thanked the Associated Student Government for passing the resolution calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine. The protestors are determined to speak to the Board of Trustees about this issue.
