Review: Clapton streaming a different musical side

Eric Clapton‘s nineteenth solo album “Clapton,” displaying his profile on the cover artwork, portrays his new music well.

Clapton said that this album wasn’t meant to be what it came out to be and that it was somewhat of a surprise.

While I think this album contains mainly country blues and a mix of jazz it does have a few songs more geared toward the Rock n’ Roll genre, which I prefer more. I am a little disappointed that he has steered away from that kind of music.

Growing up listening to his fast-paced Rock n’ Roll songs, I am definitely not going to buy his new album, which contains too many slow-paced emotional songs.

His new album is definitely aimed toward older country music fans. But without question, I still admire the famous guitarist who continues to have amazing string fingers.
