The Lady Vaqueros grabbed an impressive 8-0 victory on the road against the Allan Hancock College Bulldogs on Friday.
The Vaqs remains undefeated and improved their record to 12-0-2 overall, and 3-0-0 in conference play.
Head coach John Sisterson was pleased with the women getting such a good result in the bad weather conditions. “The score reflected the game,” Sisterson said.
Lizzy Rao and Kila MacNaughton had two goals each. The other goal scorers for City College were, Michelle Welch, Danna Wahlund, Sami Deen, and Chelsey Klein, all who scored one goal each.
The Lady Vaqueros have an impressive record, scoring 59 goals in 14 games, which give them a goal average of 4 goals per game, while only allowing 7.
The next game for City College is at 4 p.m. next Thursday against Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
