Pat Mora gave the 47th annual May Hill Arbuthnot Honor Lecture that she titled “Book Joy! ¡Alegria en los libros!” on Friday evening, April 15, in the Garvin Theatre at Santa Barbara City College. Mora is an award-winning author of dozens of award winning children’s books, many of which represent the Mexican-American experience.
