Incident Report – Two drunks caught urinating on campus property

March 5

Between 10 and 11 a.m., a stocky tattooed man was disruptive in the Health and Wellness Office. He approached the nurses asking to have his blood pressure taken, but the nurses discovered he was not a student and turned him away. The man got “loud and angry, and left the office abruptly,” according to the report.

March 9

An attempted car theft on the third level of the West Campus parking structure occurred at 2:10 p.m., according to a call made to security. A student was lying in the camper shell of his truck, when “two Hispanic males in their early twenties were heard trying to break into [his] truck,” according to the report. The student pressed the alarm button on his keys, and the males ran out of the parking structure.

March 10

At approximately 6:35 p.m., security received a call regarding an injured female student at the Schott Center located at Bath Street and West Padre Street. The student was cutting carrots in cooking class when she “sliced her pointer finger open,” which included severe damage to the nail, according to the report. She was taken to the Cottage Hospital for treatment.

March 11

Security received a call at around 4:35 p.m. regarding two belligerent drunks at the bottom of the concrete stairs on Cliff Drive and Rancheria Street. The two intoxicated individuals were seen urinating against trees and smoking cigarettes. When security approached, they saw an open container in a brown paper bag. The drunks could barely stand, as security called the Santa Barbara Police Department for further assistance.
