City College swimmer Kristina Hill stands on the beach on Thursday, April 14, at Leadbetter Beach, Santa Barbara. Hill not only broke the school record in the 1000 yard freestyle at the last conference, but she has previously won the open water race, Escape from Alcatraz.

Santa Barbara City College’s Addison Seale dominated the field in the women’s 200 yard individual medley at the first Western State Conference swim meet on Saturday, March 5, at the Ventura Aquatic Center. The Vaqueros won 10 of the 11 events they swam in.
