The City College Men’s soccer team was shutout 1-0 in the third place game vs. Richland, Texas, at the Mt. Sac Tournament on Sunday.
The Vaqueros had some quality scoring chances throughout the contest, but couldn’t manage to put one past the Richland keeper, marking the first time in 23 games the Vaqs failed to score a goal.
City College goal keeper Yohna Adrabi made some great saves, including a save on a penalty kick in the 60th minute. The Vaqueros play their first home game of the season against San Bernadino on Sept. 15.
