Hope for Haiti Now, a global digital album, is composed of a widely diverse range of artists and genres united in their art and benevolence to aid Haitians. A hundred percent of the profits go to Haiti relief organizations.
With a surprisingly smooth transition from a soulful Stevie Wonder song, “Time to Love,” to country star’s sweetheart, Taylor Swift’s, “Breathless,” this album is solemnly tied together through the massive tragedy and destruction the people in Haiti are experiencing.
Although these twenty compiled songs all have a mournful tone, they are reflective of the earthquake’s tragedy in a hopeful pro-active manner. So far it has raised more than $3 million in relief funds. It’s refreshing to see such universal support from the music community to those in dire need.
