Reports made to campus security during the first week of November:
Nov. 1
Security officers warned an intoxicated white man in his late 40s, to stay off-campus when he made hostile and threatening remarks to faculty around the horticulture garden. The man has short balding hair and a white goatee. Security warned him that if he returned he would be arrested.
Nov. 3
An open discussion in a drug counseling class sparked a verbal disagreement between two students that required a strong call for order from the instructor. The students were arguing about Prop. 5. Security was called, but when officers arrived, one of the students had already left the class.
Nov. 4
Security noticed a burning smell inside the kitchen area at the West Campus Snack Shop. They were informed that an air conditioning unit in the area was recently repaired. A City College electrician was called.
Nov. 5
A wallet with $100 in cash, credit cards, driver’s license and other identification cards was reported stolen from the backpack of a student in the Humanities Building – Room 323.
