About 4,000 new tips and information have been given to the Reno Police Department regarding slain SBCC student Brianna Denison’s killer, according to an article on the Reno Gazette Journal Web site.
Police have linked a “smaller or mid-sized” pickup truck that is linked to a previous attack.
New details include that the truck is an “extended cab, two bucket seats with possibly dark grey or black upholstery, a center console with a black vinyl or plastic lid,” according to the Gazette.
The truck has an automatic transmission and a “radio, tape player or compact disc with a rectangular shape.”
According to a press release on the City of Reno’s Denison investigation Web site, Reno Police say the suspect may not have owned the vehicle, but had access to it, and may have sold the vehicle since the murder.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Secret Witness Program at (775)-322-4900 or the Reno Police Department’s 24-hour tip line at (775)-745-3521. Secret Witness is offering a $2,500 reward for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest and prosecution, according to the RGJ website.
