Friday, Nov. 17 is the last day for students to apply for degrees and certificates for Fall 2006.
“Degrees and certificates are important milestones for students,” said Oscar Zavala, co-chair of the Counseling Department. “Often students are eligible for multiple degrees and certificates and don’t know it.”
Students planning to leave City College with a degree or a certificate need to apply soon.
Interested students can make an appointment with a counselor in the Student Service Building. They will be required to fill out diploma and certificate request forms, which can be obtained through the school’s web site, www.sbcc.edu/forms.
“It’s best to call and make an appointment because there will be a wait for walk-ins,” Zavala explained.
Otilia Rodriguez, who works in the Counseling Center, said students should schedule their appointments soon so that they can fit them in for an appointment.
