City College students, staff and faculty can get Sansum Medical Clinic flu shots for $15 in the Campus Center from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Nov. 1.
“It makes it convenient for faculty, staff and students,” said Susan Broderick, director of Student Health Services. “Sometimes it’s hard to get into the community.”
Walk-ups are preferred. Next year the price of these vaccines will increase to $20.
City College didn’t hike the price this year because Sansum had already committed to the $15 fee. College officials are working to reduce the cost of the shots in the coming years. Supplies are limited with about 100 shots available.

People that are pregnant or allergic to eggs should steer clear of the shots for now.
