City College programs will be on display today at the technologies open house at Friendship Plaza until 1 p.m.

“Students can learn more about career options for themselves,” said Betty Pazich, associate dean of the occupational programs.

Pazich said that students cam use the fair to learn about certain programs.

“Take for example the Marine Diving Program, what do students really know about it?” said Pazich.

She said the open house could forge career paths and expose students to the wealth of available resources out there for students in vocational programs.

Faculty and students from following disciplines will be available to talk about their fields: Automotive Technologies, Computer Network Engineering & Electronics, Drafting/CAD/Interior Design, Construction Academy, Environmental Horticulture, Marine Diving Technologies, School of Culinary Arts & Hotel Management, and Cosmetology.

“We hope it won’t rain, but we have umbrellas for sun or for rain,” said occupational programs specialist Jessica P., who organized the event.
