The ambassador of the Bay is back, with his new album “My Ghetto Report Card,” and this time the Bay Area is on the map. E-40, the only rapper to have his own dictionary has come out with one of his best albums yet. Produced by Lil John and Rick Rock, mixing southern crunk with the Bay Area sound, E-40 has taken his ghetto slang and introduced it to hard bass and percussions. E-40 opens up the album with a song called “Yay Area,” which instantly gets you in the mood to hear the rest of the album. On almost every track there are a slew of guest artists featured, like Keak Da Sneak, Mike Jones, Bun-B, Federation and more. One personal favorite is ” U and Dat” featuring T-Pain. This song brings a club vibe as E-40 does his X-Rated things. I recommend this album because of the high production value, not to mention that every song has a sick beat.
