The Abyssinians keep reggae classic with their album”Satta Massagana.” Though released in 1993, this is an oldie but goodie and belongs in every reggae lovers collection. The album has re-mastered tracks that will bring a chill effect to anyone everyday. The mellow sound of the guitar and hypnotizing drum-beat can be heard in every song on the album. The Abyssinians stay true to their Rastafarian culture and religion with songs like “I and I”. The album will remind all reggae lovers of why they feel in love with the revolutionary sound and message of the roots of rock reggae. The inner revolutionary is sure to peak in us when listening to lyrics on the album such as, “You cannot hurt us now because we are strong.” This is truly a classic. Buy it, play it and you will see why it’s a classic.
