The album, which at times border more on soul and R & B, is a mixture of new songs and covers, and is loaded with guest performances by Carlos Santana, John Mayer, Keith Richards, Keb Mo’, and Tracy Chapman.The album also features songs written by Curtis Mayfield, Bob Dylan, Otis Redding, and Isaac Hayes. it’s easy to understand why Buddy Guy is one of the greatest blues guitarists of all time. From start to finish Guy squeezes 100 percent of his passion into every song he play, and it shows.
