Because of editing errors, The Channels incorrectly attributed information in a Sept. 28 news brief about health benefits being extended to adjunct faculty to Sue Ehrlich, VP of HR. In fact, 44 adjunct teachers are eligible and five of them have chosen to accept the insurance so far. Also comments about the new policy failing to satisfy adjunct faculty were inaccurately attributed to Ehrlich. Finally, eligibility was negotiated between the Instructors Association and the district, working with the Benefits Committee, not the insurance provider. The Channels regrets the errors.
