The Career Center held its annual Spring Job Fair on West Campus April 27.
“We try to get a wide variety of employers who can offer part time jobs, career jobs, summer jobs and internships,” said Deborah Gentry, a counselor in the Career Center. “This is really a great opportunity for all our students at City College.”
The job fair had a variety of employers students could talk to about employment.
Representatives from the Army and Marines, the sheriff and police departments, the Santa Barbara Zoo, Vons, UPS, City Bank and the Bacara Resort and Spa all staffed tables.
“The job fair gives us opportunity to talk with people who are interested in joining the Army, but are not sure what it is all about,” said Chris Parter, a representative from the United States Army. “We feel very fortunate to be a part of such a great event.”
If you were unable to go to the job fair, you can pick up applications and contact information from the employers at the Career Center.
