If you’re a true hip-hop fan you will love The Alchemist, and his album “First Infantry.” If you haven’t heard of the Alchemist before it may be because he is primarily a producer on the East Coast.
He has a video out on BET called “Hold you down,” which is the first single released. It also features industry names like Nina Sky, Prodigy and IIIa Ghee. The Alchemist also includes his brother and some of the hottest names in the game throughout the album. These names include Lloyd Banks, Game, Dilated Peoples, Nas, B-Real (of Cypress Hill) and many more. The interesting mix of rappers have collaborated to make hard hitting tracks that can be listened to from start to finish without skipping a beat. The lyrics from each artist are unique to their style and all have punch lines that will have you say “OH!” This is definitely another CD you should add to your collection.
