Coach Melody Parker was pleased with the team’s spirit. “We are much stronger than Santa Monica was,” she said.
Santa Monica’s Dragen Ivanovic picked up a yellow card in the third game after apparently cursing at the referee in another language.
The Vaqueros take on Long Beach at 6 p.m. today and then travel to LA Pierce College on Friday.
