On Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. there will be a note-taking workshop in the Cartwright Learning Resource Center room CAI 2.
The LRC offers workshops every semester to help students with different study techniques.
The workshops are free, and at the end students get an attendance slip for verification.
LRC Director Jerry Pike teaches the workshop along with personal counselor Alyson Bostwick from Student Health. Pike said that the workshops are a good way of alerting students about the different services that the LRC offers. Peter Rojas from the Math Department is in charge for the math confidence workshop.
“It can really help students get better results in their classes,” Pike said.
The note-taking workshop will be followed by a time management workshop, and a test-taking skills workshop in March.
