ty College women’s golf team has taken first in every tournament it has entered.
Oct. 2 was more of the same as the Lady Vaqueros took first at the Diamond Bar Golf Course.
College of the Canyons, who give City College its toughest competiton, took second place.
“I am extremely satisfied with their performance,” said City College coach Chuck Melendez. “But we always have higher expectations.”
Amber Clifford shot the lowest score with 76, followed closely by Natalie Todd who shot 78.
The team’s top golfer Victoria Alimond fired an 84. The team score was 321, 12 shots below College of the Canyons.
