Brief – Partee earns doctorate in education
February 9, 2006
Argosy University has awarded Ben Partee, assistant dean of Educational Programs, with a doctorate in education, choosing his dissertation on the City College Running Start Summer Program for university publication.
“It was a realization of a lifetime goal for me,” Partee said Monday. “If it opens doors for me in the future, that’s just icing on the cake.”
The doctorate took Partee five years to complete and consisted of 60 units.
Partee’s summer program offers academic and financial aid support to local high school seniors from low-income, underprivileged backgrounds.
