City College students and members of the community are invited to view the last presidential debate on campus tonight.
Collaborating the event are the Commission of Presidential Debates, the communication and political science departments, the Associated Student Body, and the Student Alumni Activities Office. To encourage students to take interest in this year’s election, the debate will be shown on a large screen and will be followed by a group discussion. Students will be able to talk about their opinions with members of the Social Science Division.
Before the debate, students will have the opportunity to register to vote and enjoy free pizza in the courtyard of the Administration building. Room A211 will open at 5:30pm for seating and the debate begins at 6pm. The live televised political debate is an open and encouraged event for anyone to attend.
