Dug Uyesaka, a teacher at Laguna Blanca School, heard about the exhibit through a friend and was ‘deeply moved by the exhibit and the message it’s trying to convey,’ at the opening on Friday, Sept. 25, at the City College Atkinson Gallery in Santa Barbara. ‘Isolated’ is collection of works by Richard Ross, commenting on the juvenile detention system across America.
