A woman called security to report a possible stalking.

The woman reported she had strange encounters with a man she recently dated. He surprised her twice from behind, and her friends told her he had been asking them for information.

She told security that her bike brakes were cut at the Amtrak station on Wednesday, and she saw his truck there around the same time. On Thursday, her bike light was stolen from the rack near the Humanities Building.

Security was called to the Learning Resource Center because a student was acting strange, and “creeping out” some of the staff.

According to the report a male student was acting “odd,” staring at the person on the neighboring computer, and wasn’t doing work.

Security spoke with the man and he responded strangely, answering with vague statements and avoiding other questions with a smile.

There had been other previous incidents with the man in the LRC and library.

One witness who commented on the report said he could have been exhibiting signs of schizophrenia.

He was removed from the LRC for the rest of the day.
