CD Review- Tina Dickow “A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending”

Danish singer/songwriter Tina Dico has come out with a more grown-up sound in her January release “A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending.”

Dico’s fifth album is packaged as a box set, with 20 songs divided into three mini-albums.

The songs flow well throughout the album. With fantastic well-written lyrics, mellow melodies and her beautiful, unique voice, she creates storytelling songs that will stay on your mind long after listening. The powerful lyrics of “He Doesn’t Know” pull the listener in:

“That I loved him with every beat of my heart. I’d tremble with longing when we were apart. Oh, I’d ache to pull him in close. I don’t think he knows.”
