Editor, The Channels:

I read with interest the article in the latest edition of The Channels about affordable housing. I was lucky to find out about the West Beach Student House at 134 Chapala Street.

Set up by students, for students, it has 60 beds in shared dorms for $95 a week, and that includes breakfast. Anyone looking for a short-term solution should check them out by calling 963-0154. I stayed a month and it was great. They have a kitchen, big-screen TV, and it is walking distance to SBCC.
