Photo Gallery: The Clothesline Project against sexual violence

Rachel Bourke, city college student and feminist club member, puts the finishing touches on a t-shirt for the SBCC 2015 Clothesline Project, Monday morning, Oct. 26, in the Friendship Plaza on East Campus. The Clothesline Project is an effort to raise awareness about sexual violence and is presented by Student Health and Wellness and City College Connect, with participation from the Feminist Club, the Rape Crisis Center, the Health and Wellness Center and the Pacific Pride Foundation.

City College hosted an event called The Clothesline Project to raise awareness about the issue of sexual violence against college women.

The free event was sponsored by the Health and Wellness Center, where students were able to decorate t-shirts in order to express their personal voice against sexual violence. Participants included the Feminist Club, The Rape Crisis Center, Pacific Pride Foundation and the Mental Wellness Center.

The event was held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Friendship Plaza on East Campus.
